POWERSCHOOL FORMS: Please remember, if you haven’t already done so, to go into PowerSchool and update your forms for the 25 - 26 school year.
ATTENTION 7TH & 8TH GRADE PARENTS: If your child selected Basic Life Skills or Art 7/8 for 2nd semester as an elective, these fees have been added to MSB. They may be paid online through MSB or you can pay this by sending in a check with your child to the office.
Applications for Panthers in Excellence (PIE) are due by 3:00pm on Monday, April 13th. PIE, formerly the National Junior Honor Society, is a student-led organization that elevates FMS's commitment to academic excellence, service, leadership and character. Sixth & Seventh grade students who are interested must stop by Mrs. Hooper's office for an application. SOCCER 26 - 27: After a historic 2025 season with State Final 4 finishes for both the Girls & Boys Soccer Teams - we are looking to build for our 2026 Season! The Girls Team will hold a Team Meeting after school this Thursday 04/16/2026 at 3:15 pm Information on our Soccer Alumni Game on Friday 05/15/2026 and our Youth Soccer Camp on 06/09-11/2026 will be distributed very soon so please be sure we have your contact information! Important Washington, D.C.trip information and forms were sent home 4/7/26: Dear Eight Grade Parents and Guardians, The trip is almost here and things are getting really exciting. On 4/7 in flex your child received a packet of important information and forms for the D.C. trip. There is a lot of information, so please read it carefully. A digital copy is also linked below. There is a liability statement which needs notarized, a basic medical form that all students need filled out (both sides), and a prescription medication form if your child will need to take any prescription medications on the trip. Please note this prescription form will need to be filled out by a doctor per state law.
The parent meeting is on Thursday, April 23rd in the middle school gym. These completed papers can be turned in at that time. We will begin collecting the forms at 6:00. The meeting will begin at 6:30 and be over around 7:00. 4/23
**We are still in need of a notary or two for the parent meeting. Please contact us if you are a notary and willing to help.
Please ask your child for the paper copy of this packet. Let us know if you have any questions or if you cannot attend the meeting.

8TH GRADE PARENTS: The eighth grade incentive program involves students earning play money which they can spend on snacks and school supplies. At the end of each quarter they will have the opportunity to attend a silent auction to bid on more expensive items. This incentive program is most successful with parent donations. Fairbanks Families: As many of you know, we rely heavily on the support of our community to provide excellent athletic experiences for our Fairbanks students. The spring season is a busy one, and there are many opportunities to serve—both big and small—each of which is greatly appreciated! Please review the volunteer sign-ups below for the spring season and consider signing up where you are able.
Don't forget that student volunteers can get service hours for NHS or other programs that require service hours. Thank you in advance for your continued support and partnership!

PARENT REMINDER: Please remember, we are no longer using Final Forms district wide. ANY and ALL changes need to be made in PowerSchool. This will need to be completed and signed prior to each school year. Thank you for your cooperation with this. Log-in for the Parent PowerSchool account: https://ps-frbk.metasolutions.net/public/home.html. The information to be reviewed and updated is located under “Forms'' and then “Enrollment.” Complete each form, clicking “submit” to move to the next form. You will go through this process for each student in your account. Families will need to have their PowerSchool account set-up. ABSENCE REMINDER: If your child is going to miss for any reason, please call the school @ 937-349-9000, option #1, then option #2. Please call before 9:00 AM. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
NEW ENTRANCE FOR THE MS: The Middle School now has a new entrance, in the front of the building. All parent pick ups and drop offs will be through this entrance between the hours of 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, ONLY Please use entrance “B”. Drop off and pick up before and after school is still in the back of the building, entrance “C”.
SCHOOL FEES: Fee invoices have been recorded in MSB. If you do not have a MSB(MySchoolBucks) account, please make one. You can either pay fees online through MSB, or send in a check with your child to the office to pay. There is a service fee if you pay online through MSB. If you have any questions regarding fees, please contact the office. Thank you.

BUS REMINDER: Just as a friendly reminder, we are not able to offer riding home on the bus w/friends. Students are only permitted to ride their assigned bus. Our buses are crowded and are not able to handle any extra students. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
