WINTER MUSIC CONCERT:  Come here the sounds of the holiday at our Music Department Winter concert on Monday, December 15 at 7 PM in the high school gymnasium. The art department will host an art show on the stage prior to the concert. This event is free and open to the public. Come get into the holiday spirit!

Students: Show your holiday spirit with 10 Holly Days:   Mon, Dec 15 - Favorite Holiday (Dress like your favorite holiday), Tues, Dec 16 - Twinning is Winning (Dress with a twin), Wed, Dec 17 - Channel Your Flannel (Wear flannel), Thur, Dec 18 - Spirit Day (Show your panther pride) and Fri, Dec 19 - Long Winter's Nap (Wear your holiday pajamas)

SKI CLUB: Are you interested in ski club?    Ski dates are Wednesdays, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4 & 2/11 from 4 - 8 PM.  Registration and payment for the ski package is through Vail.   Registration and payment for the bus is through Fairbanks.   The bus fee this year is $50. 8TH GRADE PARENTS:  The eighth grade incentive program involves students earning play money which they can spend on snacks and school supplies.  At the end of each quarter they will have the opportunity to attend a silent auction to bid on more expensive items.  This incentive program is most successful with parent donations.  If you are willing to donate, please see the AMAZON LIST HERE or scan the qr code. SOFTBALL:  If your daughter plans to play softball for Fairbanks this spring, parents, please log into Final Forms and sign them up for softball.  We are trying to get an accurate count of participants.  

Winter Volunteers for Athletic Events:  As many of you know, we rely heavily on the support of our community to provide excellent athletic experiences for our Fairbanks students. PARENT REMINDER:   Please remember, we are no longer using Final Forms district wide.  ANY and ALL changes need to be made in PowerSchool.  This will need to be completed and signed prior to each school year.  Thank you for your cooperation with this.  Log-in for the Parent PowerSchool account: https://ps-frbk.metasolutions.net/public/home.html. The information to be reviewed and updated is located under “Forms'' and then “Enrollment.” Complete each form, clicking “submit” to move to the next form. You will go through this process for each student in your account. Families will need to have their PowerSchool account set-up. ABSENCE REMINDER:   If your child is going to miss for any reason, please call the school @ 937-349-9000, option #1, then option #2.  Please call before 9:00 AM.  Thank you for your cooperation with this.

NEW ENTRANCE FOR THE MS:  The Middle School now has a new entrance, in the front of the building.  All parent pick ups and drop offs will be through this entrance between the hours of 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, ONLY   Please use entrance “B”.   Drop off and pick up before and after school is still in the back of the building, entrance “C”.

SCHOOL FEES:  Fee invoices have been recorded in MSB.   If you do not have a MSB(MySchoolBucks) account, please make one.   You can either pay fees online through MSB, or send in a check with your child to the office to pay.   There is a service fee if you pay online through MSB.   If you have any questions regarding fees, please contact the office.  Thank you.

ATTENTION PARENTS:  When emailing in attendance or transportation change, please use MSO@fairbankspanthers.org  This is for MS students only.  Thank you.

BUS REMINDER:  Just as a friendly reminder, we are not able to offer riding home on the bus w/friends.   Students are only permitted to ride their assigned bus.   Our buses are crowded and are not able to handle any extra students.  Thank you for your cooperation with this.
